Court dissolves week-old marriage over size of husband's penis

The Upper Shariah Court 1 Samaru, Gusau in Zamfara State has dissolved a week-old marriage between Aisha Ibrahim and Haruna Maiginarzinari over the size of the husband’s manhood.

The newly wedded Aisha had filed a suit at the Sharia Court praying for the dissolution of her marriage to Haruna on the ground that she could not continue to have sex with him due to the size of his penis, which she considered too big.

“I can no longer accommodate my husband’s manhood. It is too big for me. I want you to dissolve our marriage,” the wife had pleaded.

The husband who did not object to the prayer asked for refund of the money he had expended on her.

According to Aisha, she had sexual intercourse with Haruna twice but the experience was bitter on both occasions as she was left with injuries and pains in her private parts.

Earlier, when the case was mentioned and heard, Haruna agreed to the divorce and demanded refund of N60,000 he had spent on her.

The presiding judge, Alhaji Mamman Shinkafi directed the couple to go and reconcile the amount the wife had to refund.

Both parties, with the guidance of the court, agreed on N47,310 to be refunded to husband.

At the resumed hearing of the case, Aisha paid the N47,310 as requested and the judge, Alhaji Mamman Shinkafi dissolved the marriage.
