Nutricima, P-Square’s Peter Okoye fete Olympic Facebook contest winners

Five couples, who emerged winners in Nutricima’s ‘My Olympic Valentine Facebook Contest’, have been treated to a special dinner with Olympic Brand Ambassador, Peter Okoye.

Out of a total of 30 couples who participated inthe contest which required couples to take selfies while holding Olympic variants, the five lucky couples emerged winners as a result of the numbers of ‘likes’ received by their selfies on the Olympic Facebook Fan page.

The winners include three married couples: Mr and Mrs Oyedokun David, Mr and Mrs Tijani Abidemi, Mr and Mrs Precious Okoh. The others are Aborisade Yemi with Ojediran Temitope; Isaac Nwobodo and Kween Patsy.

Gorgeously dressed for the occasion, which held at Marcopolo Oriental Cuisine, Victoria Island, Lagos recently, the excited couples were not only eager to savour the irresistible delicacies set for the dinner but also enjoy the memorable opportunity to dine with P-Square’s Peter Okoye.

The multi-award winning hip-hop star expressed appreciation to the winners for participating in the contest and being loyal consumers of Olympic variants, assuring them that the Nutricima Limited remains committed to providing high quality nutritious products.

He encouraged the couples to enjoy the evening and to feel free to express themselves while relating with him as brand ambassador of the favourite Olympic brand.

He also asked the couples what they particularly liked about Olympic range of products.

Responding, the winners observed that Olympic Milk offers varieties with its recent launch of the powdered milk option.

One of the winners, Mrs. Precious said her kid “loves the Olympic milk and often has a sachet in his launch box to school.”

On his part, Mr. Oyedokun David noted that his family relishes the evaporated Olympic milk mostly with tea and sometimes with pap.

“My tea is always enjoyable with evaporated Olympic milk every morning and sometimes I use it in my pap. The quality still remains the same with the powdered variant even as the milk was repackaged with new look recently,” he said.

Other couples also stressed the nutritious benefits of Olympic Milk and the Apple flavoured drink which was launched during the last quarter of last year.

Answering questions from the media, Okoye noted that his decision to become Olympic brand ambassador was driven by Nutricima’s high quality products and commitment to every Nigerian family, homes and consumers through its richly manufactured products.

“I can only associate with a reputable company like Nutricima Limited and represent a quality brand such as Olympic because as a celebrity your fans and consumers of the product will always equate your image with the brand you represent,” he said.

The Integrated Marketing Communications Manager, Nutricima Limited, Funsho Jacob expressed appreciation to the couples for participating in the contest and taking out time to dine with the brand ambassador.

“Nutricima will continue to care and share with its consumers by maintaining its high quality standard and providing opportunities to reward their loyalty,” he said.

He added that the initiative was one of its several moves to share happy moments with consumers, afford them the opportunity to experience the brand and spend some time with Peter Okoye.

It would be recalled that similar digital media campaign tagged ‘Blue Santa Facebook Challenge’ held last December.

Nutricima surprised winners who emerged from the challenge with lots of fantastic prizes, which were delivered to the winners at their residence by Okoye.
