Akwa Ibom State governor and wife, Udom and Martha Emmanuel, along with six other prominent Nigerians, have been selected for the "2020 Executive Excellence Performance Award".

The award is an annual event organised by The Harlem Global Awards (USA) in parnership with Our Heritage International.

Other awardees include, Governors Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State and Samuel Ortom (Benue State).

Also among the awardees are the Minister of Education, Senator Adamu Adamu, Supretendent of Police Julian Igbudu Wealth, Sector Commander IGP Special Tactical Squad; Alhaji Usman Idris, Special Adviser to the President and others.

In a statement issued by the organisers, a copy of which was made available to News Express, the award is to those in executive positions who have made outstanding performances.

This year's event which kicks off at 11 am is scheduled to hold on February 28 at Golden Tulip (Essential Lagos - Airport Hotel) located at Muritala Muhammed International Airport Road, Ajao Estate, Lagos.
