Nollywood actor Yul Edochie
Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has expressed his thoughts about the vow of celibacy taken by Catholic priests.
The 38-year-old said in a tweet on Thursday that the priests should be allowed to get married.
“Now that I’m older and wiser, I believe it’s best for Catholic priests to be allowed to get married.
DON’T ASK ME WHY!” he said.
The Roman Catholic has in recent times been plagued by cases of sexual harassment, child rape among others against its priests.
This is not the first time Edochie will be sharing his views on popular issues. He recently warned ‘Nollywood practitioners’ to stop insisting on sex before offering movie roles.
Yul previously hinted he could become a clergyman after receiving a pastoral call. (New Telegraph)
