Margaret Adanna Amadi
The death has occurred of Mrs. Margaret Adanna Amadi (Nee Iwuamadi) of Atta-Ukwu Village, Amano, Atta in Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State.
A devout Christian and woman leader, Mrs. Margaret Amadi died at 72 years of age.
In a statement by the family, the funeral arrangements are as follows:
Thursday 12th March, 2020 at 5:00 pm, there will be interdenominational service of songs at her residence, Late Ernest Amadi’s Compound, Atta-Ukwu Village, Amano Atta, Ikeduru LGA.
Friday 13th March, 2020 Body leaves mortuary at 8:00am to her hometown in Atta for lying in state. Funeral Service is at 10:00am in her Compound, Atta-Ukwu Village, Amano Atta, Ikeduru LGA of Imo State.
According to the statement, interment follows at her compound with condolence visit by in-laws and friends, and other groups as well as well-wishers.
She is survived by children, brothers, sisters, grand-children and host of other relations. Among the sons is a Lagos-based media practitioner, Mr. Ugo Amadi, Business Editor/Head of energy desk, Champion Newspapers Limited.
