Whatever happened that made colleagues of Nollywood diva Mercy Johnson Okojie abandon her when she needed them most?

It happened on Saturday, January 18, 2020 when the 35 years old Kogi State born actress held the premiere of her much publicised movie, The Legend of Inikpi, at the Silverbird Cinema in Lagos.

Expectations were high as her fellow A-list stars were expected to fill up every available space in the hall.

But nay, there was no sign of the senior boys and girls of the industry. They were conspicuously missing in the midst of the well attended event by other guests.

Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Rita Dominic, Genevieve Nnaji, Jim Iyke, Omoni Oboli, Tonto Dikeh, Uche Jombo, Ini Edo, Funke Akindele, Toyin Abraham, Toke Makinwa, Dakore Akande and many other notable actors.

But thank God the heavily pregnant actress’s husband, Prince Odianosen Okojie a.k.a Odi, stormed the event with their three children, plus the fourth carried inside Ozioma’s tummy, to show solidarity to his wife of eight years.
