The Rivers State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bro. Felix Obuah, has joined millions of Rivers people and others around the world to commemorate the successful entry into the New Year, 2020.

In his New Year Message, signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Jerry Needam, the PDP Chairman charged the good people of Rivers State to embrace the New Year with forgiveness, love, peace and a grateful heart as God has been faithful in preserving their lives throughout the year 2019.

Bro. Obuah charged the people not to waiver in thanksgiving to God whose tender mercies have kept everyone alive.

He expressed the hope that 2020 would be fruitful and rewarding, and appealed to everyone to join faith with Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike as he continues with his people-oriented policies to improve the lives and wellbeing of Rivers people.

The Chairman admonished the people to realise that every New Year comes with greater challenges and obstacles, praying God to give them the courage, hope and faith to overcome all of the hurdles they may face in 2020.

The PDP Chairman also stressed that those who put their trust in God would surely overcome the challenges of 2020 even as he urged them to take advantage of the New Year to forgive and unite for a better and prosperous Rivers State.

“2019 is gone and gone forever. 2020 is a new year, a year of hope and renewal of the mind.Let us forget and forgive one another,” he charged and urged the people of the State to live in love, peace and harmony.
