All set for burial of Dasuki’s wife

All is set for the burial of former Sultan Ibrahim Dasuki’s wife, Hajia Gwaggo Jabbo Dasuki.

News of the death of Hajia Jabbo Dasuki, aged 75, was broken by News Express early this morning.
Latest information available to News Express indicates that she will be buried by 10 O’clock this morning in accordance with Islamic rites after prayer at Yahaya Road Jumma’at mosque in Kaduna, South-West Nigeria.

News of the death of Hajia Jabbo Dasuki was made known around midnight through text message.
A source said Hajiya Jabbo died last night of an undisclosed illness in Abuja, the Nigerian capital, and her corpse was brought to the family at their Miyyeti Allah Residence, Ungwan Rimi, Kaduna.

"She is survived by her husband, the former Sultan and three children, among whom are Hajia Mamie wife of Yariman Zazzau, Major Haruna Dasuki and Aliyu A Dasuki,” the source said.

The cause of her death is not yet known.
