Nigerian born, US based Nollywood veteran actress, Imaobong Regina Askia Usoro, was some days back taken aback by the surprise visit of her mother in the United States of America.

Madam Askia Usoro, a retired head teacher of the Qua Iboe Church Nursery School in Akwa Ibom State, decided to take her former actress daughter unawares since she (Regina) has not paid a visit to her country home for a long time now.

The 52 years old Biology graduate from the University of Lagos and former model who took over from then Bianca Onoh as Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria in 1988 after Bianca resigned, was however very pleased to welcome her mother to her New York home where she lives with her family.

To express her happiness about the mother’s visit, the Akwa Ibom State born star who narrowly escaped the September 11, 2001 World Trade Center calamity quickly arranged a photo session where she posed with her mother and her daughter Teesa.

She captioned the picture of the three of them (with a striking semblance) which she posted on her Instagram page thus:

“3 generations of us! Mom, myself and Ms T. Thanks be to God.”

Regina is married to American Rudolph 'Rudy' Williams, together the couple have two children – daughter Teesa Olympia and son Rudolph Junior.

Her other daughter, model Stephanie Hornecker, is from a previous relationship. Regina currently lives in America with her family, and is now a family nurse practitioner in New York City.
