Rising star Naira Marley
Afeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, came into the limelight in 2017 after his song with Olamide and Lil Kesh titled “Issagoal”.
The UK-born Nigerian artiste however gained tripled recognition in the industry after he was arrested and detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) earlier this year, after which he dropped “Why”, an R and B piece.
Ever since that “stain” on his reputation, Naira has managed to remain relevant in the industry as all the songs he has dropped have been hits, back to back.
The hitch on his name has not stopped him from expressing himself whenever and however.
Of recent, Naira has been posting some deep, intellectual and relative feeds on his Twitter handle.
These encouraging tweets have been serving as life hacks to many and it makes one begin to wonder if he plans to start a mentorship programme for young people in Nigeria.
According to a Tweeter user, “Naira is a messiah to many; ‘saving’ them from the shackles of their consciences.”
Naira also called himself the “only good leader in Nigeria” recently. Where exactly is he headed?
A political ambition? A mentorship programme?
What exactly is Naira Marley’s plan?
