In its commitment towards sustainability for a better world, People Planet and Profit Media, has announced the unveiling of its initiative the: TOP 60 BOSS NIGERIA.

In a press statement made on November 27, 2019 by Nelson Obine, executive director of People Planet & Profit Media, he said a research carried out showed that employees both in the private and public organisations seeks a platform to celebrate their boss and show of appreciation beyond mere offer of thanks or birthday celebrations.

This among others, he said, informed the berth of TOP 60 BOSS NIGERIA whose selection is based on Boss-Employees Relationship and Motivational (BERAM) model.

Nelson said further that the search entails proven and veritable assertions of applauds made by colleagues or accolades at public and workplace, philanthropic gestures and contributions made towards organisations, societal growth and development, these collations are thereafter measured across sustainable development goals (SDGs) and indicators including the goal number 8 for decent work and inclusive growth. The selection covers age brackets up to 60 years.

“The term ‘Boss’ is a common language in the corporate world and it denotes acceptance of leadership in different facets of life. The world has witnessed celebrations of CEOs, business leaders and business moguls in various media leaving behind business managers, supervisors, civil servants and other employees who has played immense role for a better world, accelerating achievement of sustainable development goals in Nigeria.

“Today, employees and business owners are doing a great deal resulting in greater productivity, soaring income and humane for a better world; these set of people have been discovered and should be appreciated with reference,” he said.

Unveiling of the TOP 60 Boss Nigeria is scheduled for Saturday, December 14, 2019 at NECA Events Centre, Central Business District, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos, with lots of media presence. Only invited participants are expected, according to Mr. Obine.

He advised well-wishers to look out for the material as the publication shall be distributed across embassies, notable chambers of commerce, trade associations, civil society and corporate organisations. It also serves as a reference and credible print-material for employers and employees to present as a priceless gift in the celebration of their boss as we move through the year 2020.
