The Lagos State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Moyosore Onigbanjo SAN, has written to the Lekki Forum of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), soliciting its support to enable him and the Babatunde Sanwo-Olu administration to deliver an efficient justice system to Lagos residents.

“I count on your support in the discharge of my duties and in this Administration’s continuous effort in delivering an efficient justice system to the good people of Lagos State,” the Attorney General said in the letter dated 3rd September, 2019, addressed Mr. Oladotun Hassan, Esq., Chairman of NBA Lekki Forum.

The letter was in response to an earlier one by Lekki Forum dated 21st August, 2019 congratulating Onigbanjo on his appointment by Governor Sanwo-Olu.

Reacting to the Attorney General’s letter, Barrister Hassan, the NBA Lekki Forum Chairman, assured him of synergy with the Forum, while hoping to build a stronger Bar and Bench in Lagos State.

He told News Express on Tuesday: “This is a major booster to the hardworking efforts of the NBA Lekki Forum towards attaining her chartering status as a full-fledged branch of the Bar, upon the completion of the ongoing High/Magistrate Court Building situate and lying at the Ajah, Badore Road, Lekki, Eti Osa Local Government Area, Lagos State, ready for inauguration in November 2019 as assured by the Governor of Lagos State recently.”
