Olamide and Zlatan
Fans of two top Nigerian music stars, Olamide Adedeji popularly known as Olamide a.k.a BadooSneh, and Omoniyi Temidayo popularly known by his stage name Zlatan, are at daggers drawn in defense of their stars.
Interestingly, the “war” is being fought on the social media.
It all started when Zlatan’s fan twitted thatthe 24 years old Osun State indigene, rapper, songwriter and Business Administration graduate of the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic has used his new dance step, Zanku “leg work” to cancel Olamide and his own earlier created dancecalled Shaku Shaku.
“Zlatan did not just kill shakushaku, he cancelled Olamide and Slimcase,” Zlatan’s fan had said on his Twitter handle.
This short statement has called out die-hard fans of the two artistes (incidentally, both of them born in Lagos) since yesterday (Thursday) when it was twitted, and the social media has been turned into a battle field.
For Olamide, 30, and graduate of Tai Solarin University, Ogun State, his fans would not just let such an insult go.
“You need to change your customer, that Oshogbo weed is not good for your health,” Olamide’s fan fired back almost immediately.
“Lmao nahh. Naira Marley cancelled Zlatan. Noone cancelled Olamide though,” another fan of Olamide responded.
“Zlatan cancel Olamide. Did you even read it twice or you had a typographical error?” yet another fan fired.
“Can anyone cancel Olamide? Lol. Olamide Badoo. Never!” said another fan.
The way it is going, it’s like the war has only begun.
For the records, the full meaning of ZANKU is Zlatan Abeg No Kill Us.
