Juliet Ibrahim and Iceberge Slim
The way things are going, don’t be surprised if you hear in a couple of days to come that talented Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim and Nigeria’s rapper, Olusegun Olowookere popularly known as Iceberge Slim, are back together in love.
Recall that the 36 years old pretty actress who was formerly married to a Ghanaian businessman in 2010 but divorced four years later, met the Ogun State-born Nigerian’s emerging singer and 323 Entertainment recording artiste in 2017, and the two became like butter on bread until the relationship went sour, for reasons best known to the two erstwhile lovers.
Some days back, the social media was agog when the baby papa (the mother of his daughter is yet officially unknown) went on his Instagram page to apologise to the mother of one (a 9-year old son named Jayden Safro).
During the week, the half Lebanese, half Ghanaian multi-linguist actress, producer, director and singer who has also featured in a number of Nollywood movies responded to Iceberg’s apology during an interview on Accra FM , saying she has whole-heartedly accepted her ex-boyfriend’s apology, though added that the apology “came a little too late”.
But observers in the industry say the apology and the response may just signal the romantic return of the two lovebirds.
A front line Nigerian movie producer who spoke toMaggie’s Blogabout the development on condition of anonymity said: “You can never say. May be the next thing you will hear is the tolling of wedding bells for Juliet and Iceberg. Do not take the ‘little too late’ response too serious. It’s a matter of the heart, so don’t also forget the part of her response when she said she appreciates Iceberge for apologizing and ‘clearing the air’.”
We atMaggie’s Blogare anxiously awaiting a possible tolling of the wedding bells.
We move a step further to say,JulieIce, congratulations in advance!
