In its effort to curb the increasing spate of drug abuse, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Anambra State at the weekend asked corps members addicted to drugs to avail themselves of the opportunity the agency is providing by embracing its rehabilitation process.

Addressing the 2019 Batch B Stream 1 corps members at the NYSC Temporary Orientation Camp, Umunya, Oyi Local Government Area of the state, the state Public Relations Officer of the agency, Charles Odigie, regretted the increasing case of drug abuse particularly among the youths.

He pledged the agency’s readiness to assist the victims overcome the challenge while urging them to shun drugs and stay drug-free at all times.

He said corps members “who are already addicted to drugs are enjoined to come forward for rehabilitation.

“Come forward for rehabilitation if you are already addicted to drugs and we promise to help you overcome your problems. Shun friends and acquaintances who abuse drugs.
