A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from Opuama community in Egbema Kingdom, Warri North Local Government Area, Delta State, Chief David Seikiri Ugedi, over the weekend felicitated with the member representing Warri Federal Constituency in House of Representatives, Hon. Chief Thomas Ereyitomi JP, member representing Warri North Constituency, Hon. Fred Martins, member representing Warri South-West state constituency, Hon. Dennis Emomotimi Guwor, member representing Warri South Constituency 1 seat, Hon. Augustine Uroye, and Senior Political Adviser to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, on their successful inauguration.
Chief Ugedi in a statement expressed joy over the successful inauguration of the 7th Delta State House of Assembly and the new lawmakers representing the three Warri local government areas at the federal constituency level. He expressed confidence that they will attract the much-needed development to Warri area “which will, in turn, affect communities – both Ijaw and Itsekiri – positively.”
The Opuama, Egbema Kingdon Chief is optimistic that “as the three Warri representatives are fresh, so fresh things will be attracted to their various constituencies from both the federal to state constituencies.”
He nothing that Rt. Hon. Ereyitomi “as a community leader and a successful business mogul will be dogged as usual to make laws that will further emancipate Warri communities from poverty, under development to increased commerce and economic growth with more companies springing up to employ and empower youths.”
On Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, Chief Ugedi assured that “he will perform beyond expectations,” having done “exceedingly well while as Deputy Speaker and as campaign Director Director General for Dr. Okowa’s re-election.”
He enjoined Warri residents, political stakeholders as well as Deltans to pray and support the lawmakers to make the needed difference.
