Nollywood diva Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde
Following the rising cases of assault and killings by uniformed men in the country, a popular actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, has warned that the country might implode if the Federal Government led by President Muhammadu Buhari did not rise to arrest the situation.
Apparently irked by the poor condition of the country’s economy that has left many people jobless couples with lack of money in circulation, the mother of three called on President Buhari and his Vice Professor Yemi Osinbajo to put the country back on the path of prosperity.
Omotola pointed out that the country under President Buhari’s watch was hellish, adding that the rising cases of assault and killings of Nigerians by men in uniform was capable of burning down the country.
According to the actress, the lack of money in circulation coupled with the unabated killings and assault by uniformed men will make the country implode.
The actress pointed out that many Nigerians now live in palpable fear over the lack of insecurity, calling on the President “to do something about the situation quickly”.
In a post she tweeted on Sunday evening, Omotola said: “The Country Under your watch is Hellish! @ProfOsinbajo @MBuhari @NGRPresident The lack of Money in circulation,Now coupled with the Continuous Assault n Killings by Uniformed men’ll make this Country implode!!!It’s Unbearable! Do something!Insecurity!Fear n Desperation everywhere”. (Nigerian Tribune)
