The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Friday, April 12, 2019:
NORTHERN REGION: Partly cloudy to sunny conditions are expected to prevail over the region throughout the forecast period except for Yelwa and southern Sokoto which will experience thundery activities in the afternoon/evening period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 40 – 43℃and 25 – 29℃respectively.
CENTRAL REGION: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are likely over the region in the morning hours. As the day progresses scattered thunderstorms are probable over the region. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 30 – 42℃and 17 – 26℃respectively.
SOUTH-EAST REGION: Cloudy conditions are envisaged over the southeast inland with chances of scattered thunderstorms in the morning hours, in the afternoon/evening period scattered thunderstorms are expected over the entire region. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 33 – 35℃and 21 – 24℃respectively.
SOUTH-WEST REGION: Cloudy conditions are likely in the morning hours. Later in the day, scattered thunderstorms are probable over the region. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 31 – 35℃and 20 – 24℃respectively.
SOUTH-SOUTH REGION: Scattered thunderstorms are envisaged over the region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 33 – 35℃and 21 – 24℃respectively.
