Cloudy weather
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Thursday, April 11, 2019:
NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy to sunny condition is expected to prevail over the northern city throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 37 – 42℃and 24 – 27℃respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are likely over this region with chances of localised thunderstorms over Southern Abuja, Lokoja and Makurdi during the morning hours. Localised thunderstorm is anticipated over places like Jos, Abuja Minna, Mambilla plateau and Lafia while other places are expected to be in partly cloudy to cloudy conditions during the afternoon/evening period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 29 – 40℃and 19 – 29℃respectively.
SOUTHERN STATES: Scattered thunderstorms are likely over the South-West inland while the south east inland is expected to be in partly cloudy to cloudy conditions during the morning hours. Later in the day, scattered thunderstorm is expected over the inland cities. Cloudy morning is expected over Lagos and Ijebu-Ode with chances of scattered thunderstorms over the South-East coast during the morning hours. There are prospects of scattered thunderstorm activities over the coastal cities during the afternoon/evening period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 32 – 36℃and 23 – 25℃respectively.
