Augustine Miles Kelechukwu Edgar popularly known by his stage name Tekno, at the beginning of the week released his new single aptly titled Uptempo.

What is outstanding about this new work by the Ebonyi State indigene born in Bauchi State is the dance step that comes with it.

The singer, songwriter and producer whose song Duro released two years ago on his Cartel Music label and performed by various artistes was a hit both on local and international scenes says Uptempo comes with its own dance step which he calls Dirty Dance Challenge.

The video clip of Uptempo was released same day with the audio and is currently ruling the airwaves.

Speaking on phone about his new song, the 26-year-old multiple award winning afrobeat artiste and son of a soldier said excitedly: “Oga mi, I’m really grateful to God for making Uptempo hit the music scene so hard just a few days of release. I believe there are better days ahead. The Dirty Dance Challenge is for all – old and young.”
