The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Tuesday, March 5, 2019:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and dry conditions are expected over this region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 35 – 37℃ and 18 – 23℃ respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy condition is anticipated over this region in the morning hours. Later in the day, partly cloudy condition with chances of a few scattered thunderstorms are likely over Abuja, Lokoja, Benue, Mambilla Plateau and Ibi axis in the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 30 – 40℃ and 17 – 27℃ respectively.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected over the southern cities in the morning hours except for Eket and Calabar axis where thunderstorm is to prevail. Scattered thunderstorms are probable over the entire southern region in the afternoon/evening period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 32 – 36℃ and 22 – 25℃ respectively.
