Afro music rave of the moment, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, is planning a collaborative album with Ayodeji Ibrahim Bolagun professionally known as Wizkid.

Information reaching Maggie’s Blog has it that the Rivers State-born grandson to Benson Idonije – first band manager of Fela Anikulapo’s Africa 70 Band and a famous music critic – had approached Wizkid earlier this year and the 28-year-old gave him a nod for the project.

It will be noted that Burna Boy’s two latest works “Gbona” and “On The Low” are enjoying lavish airplay across the country just as Wizkid’s “Fever” is making it to the very top of the ladder on Nigeria’s top songs rating.

Wizkid started recording music at age 11. He managed to release a collaborative album with the Glorious Five, a group he and a couple of his church friends formed. His hit song titled Ojuelegba which he released in 2014 is still making waves.

“A collabo between Burna Boy and Wizkid promises to be a bomb,” a source close to the two songsters hinted.
