Petite actress Ini Edo on Thursday recovered from heartbreak when her missing gold earring worth hundreds of thousands of naira was found.

According to the movie star who is currently serving as Special Assistant on Entertainment to Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State, she had gone to meet with her boss in the office that morning when the piece of jewelry on one of her ears slipped off and fell on the floor, and could not be found.

She said she used her hand to push back the long hair from covering her face when the gold earring on her right ear fell off.

When she left the office, she put a call to her assistant to go back to the boss’ office and conduct a search for the jewelry.

Narrating the incident further she said: “My assistant thought it was too late to do that, but I insisted because I was really down hearted. I felt terribly bad. It's not my portion to start losing my possessions this year.

“But thank God a call came in later from my assistant saying the earing had been found."
