•Teni the Entertainer
Reigning songbird popularly known as Teni the Entertainer was recently approached by three stern-looking, well-armed police men while she parked her car on the road side in Lagos.
The following chat ensued between the singer and the head of the police team:
Police officer: Teni, sebi na you say you want carry police for their case?
Teni: I no talk anything o.
Police officer: (Infuriated) Na you talk am nah. No be you dey sing?
Teni: Na joke o. Na joke abeg.
Police officer: Is that so? Are you sure na joke?
Teni: Yes, na joke. Up police! I love the police!!
(She gets up from the driver’s seat with the car door opened, moves closer and gives the police officer a romantic hug)
Police officer: (Smiling) No wahala. No wahala at all. (turns to his uniformed and equally armed colleagues)
Oya, boys let’s go!
And that was it.
Teni returned to her car, smiling.
Who says fierce-looking gun trotting security operatives don’t have a romantic heart?
