Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has been under intense pressure to take a woman as wife.

The 37-year old Lagos-based frontline music producer, singer and songwriter was recently visited by the elders of his village to force him to fix the date for marriage to the girl they have found for him back in his village.

And the Delta State-born showbiz impresario lamented, “This marriage thing has finally let the Igwe send my village chiefs to come and visit me.”

According to our source, the first elder asked Don Jazzy to fix a date for the marriage and Don said, “At God’s time.” But the elder retorted, “You have been saying this God’s time for the past 10 years. Igwe sent us to tell you that you must marry this 2019.”

Supporting this motion, the second elder said the musicologist must marry his village wife this new year, whether he likes it or not, rather than continue to waste his time on the ongoing “10 Years Challenge”.
