The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Tuesday, January 22, 2019:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy condition is anticipated over this region

throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 33 – 37℃ and 13 – 18℃ respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are anticipated over this region during the forecast period with chances of localised thunderstorms over southern Abuja, Lokoja and Lafia in the afternoon/evening period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 32 – 37℃ and 17 – 25℃.

SOUTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy morning is expected over the region with chances of localised thunderstorms over Lagos, Ado-Ekiti and Oshogbo during the morning hour. Later in the day localised thunderstorms are expected to prevail over the coastal belt while inland cities are likely to experience partly cloudy to cloudy condition during the afternoon/evening. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 33 – 37℃ and 22 – 25℃ respectively.
