The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Friday, January 18, 2019:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are likely over the region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 28 – 34℃ and 10 – 17℃ respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Dust haze condition with visibility range of 2 – 5km is expected over the region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 30 – 36℃ and 11 – 21℃ respectively.

SOUTHERN STATES: Dust haze condition with visibility range of 2 – 5km is expected over the entire inland cities throughout the forecast period. Partly cloudy conditions are anticipated over the coastal cities in the morning with chances of localised thunderstorms over Lagos, Calabar and Warri. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 33 – 37℃ and 20 – 26℃ respectively.
