The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Saturday, January 12, 2019:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are likely over the region throughout the forecast period, except for Yelwa which have prospects of dust haze with visibility of 1 – 3km. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 31 – 35℃ and 11 – 18℃ respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are anticipated over the region with chances of dust haze with visibility range of 1 – 3km over Bida axis. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 31 – 36℃ and 15 – 20℃.

SOUTHERN STATES: Haze condition is expected in the morning and afternoon/evening period over the inland cities while early morning mist is expected in the coastal region in the morning, with chances of partly cloudy conditions in the afternoon/evening period. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 31 – 36℃ and 17 – 23℃ respectively.
