The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Wednesday, January 9, 2019:

NORTHERN STATES: Dust haze condition is anticipated over the northern part of the country with visibility range of 1 – 3km and localised visibility of less than or equal to 1,000m throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 25 – 33℃and 11 – 17℃respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Dust haze condition with visibility range of 2– 5km and localised visibility of less than or equal to 1,000m is anticipated over the region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 30 – 35℃and 13 – 21℃respectively. Jos 28/10.

SOUTHERN STATES: Dust haze condition with visibility range of 2 – 5km and localised visibility of less than 1,000m is anticipated over the Inland areas throughout the forecast period while, partly cloudy condition is expected with early morning mist/fog patches over the coastal area. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 30 – 33℃and 16 – 21℃respectively.
