The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Wednesday, January 3rd, 2019:

NORTHERN STATES: Dust haze condition with a visibility range of 2 - 5km and localised visibility of less than or equal to 1000m is anticipated over the region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 28 - 35℃ and 11 - 16℃ respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Dust haze condition with a visibility range of 2 - 5km and localized visibility of less than or equal to 1000m is likely to prevail over the entire region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 27 - 36℃ and 11 - 22℃ respectively.

SOUTHERN STATES: Dust haze condition with visibility range of 2 - 5km and localised visibility of less than or equal to 1000m is anticipated over the inland cities during the forecast period. Early morning mist and fog is probable over the coastal cities, which is expected to give way to dust haze condition as the day progresses. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 32 - 36℃ and 16 - 23℃ respectively.
