Two top Nigerian High life musicians have collaborated to drop a song which is currently dominating the airwaves across the country.

Titled ‘Yo Yo’, the musical piece is a masterblaster from the stable of Adekunle Gold, featuring Flavour. Gold however confessed that he had been a fan of the light-skinned Highlife maestro for almost a decade now and doing a collabo with Flavour had been his dream all these years.

“I’ve been a fan of Flavour since 2010 when I stumbled on one of my favourite jams of his ‘Idi OK’. I also remember doing a cover of ‘Ada’ in 2013, a Yoruba version which I titled ‘Omolade’. This week – five years later – we have an evergreen blend of culture. It’s life at its sweetest Highlife. We give to you ‘Yo Yo’ featuring Flavour,” said Adekunle Gold.
