A resident said many of the victims were bread, orange and banana hawkers.
He said: “The accident happened this morning. I think the trailer was coming from Lagos or Ibadan in the south west. The driver lost control of the vehicle as it was entering Jega from the Koko/Yauri side and it rammed into a group of roadside traders”.
When contacted, the Public Relations Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps in the state, Ibrahim Kangiwa, said his command was yet to be informed about the incident.
