The President, Muhammadu Buhari, has again met with governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, Governors of Lagos, Akinwunmi Ambode, Imo, Rochas Okorocha, also attended the meeting on Wednesday.

Other Governors are Kano, Abdullahi Ganduje, Bauchi, Mohammed Abubakar, and Borno, Kashim Shettima.

Briefing journalists after the meeting, Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, said the APC governors met with the President to congratulate him on his emergence as the Presidential flag bearer of the party.

According to Okorocha, the governors pledged theirsupport to the President by ensuring that victory is achieved, come 2019 general elections.

He explained that the 2019 election campaigns will focus on the achievements of the Buhari-led administration, adding that plans have been put in place to ensure aggrieved members of the APC return and resolve their existingdifferences.
