The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Warri Federal Constituency in the forthcoming 2019 general elections, Chief Thomas Ereyitomi JP, has congratulated former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, on his emergence as the PDP candidate for the 2019 polls.

Chief Ereyitomi JP described the process that saw Atiku Abubakar emerge as “a true democratic best practice adjudged to be the fairest primary election conducted in the history of Nigerian democracy.”

He lauded the Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, “for standing firm to conduct another free, fair, credible acceptable PDP Presidential Convention.”

PDP and Okowa, according to Ereyitomi JP, “have shown Nigerians that democracy is better displayed under PDP running the affairs of government at the centre in 2019.”

He urged other political parties to emulate PDP while looking on how to get their candidates in their parties instead of result to imposition of candidates against the wish of the people and Nigerians.
