Delta 2019: On Governor Okowa I stand — Ned Nwoko

Governor Okowa

Delta North PDP Senatorial Aspirant, Mr. Ned Nwoko, has declared his unshakeable support for the State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, declaring: “I stand for his re-election in the 2019 general elections.”

Nwoko spoke recently after losing to Senator Peter Nwaoboshi in the senatorial primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held in Asaba, the state capital.

He told journalists of his lofty plans for Delta North in the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly, saying: “My intention to become a Federal Lawmaker in the Upper Chamber is to make our people feel the impact of democracy.”

He, however, disclosed: “Irrespective of the loss of the ticket, I still stand in support of Governor Okowa for the 2019 general elections. We are in one accord to see that 2019 victory is for Okowa.”

Nwoko thanked Okowa “for his laudable leadership”, adding: “Governor Okowa has done very well; I’m in PDP just because of him and I’m supporting him for second term.”
