BREAKING: Nigerian Labour Congress calls off strike

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and its other affiliateorganizations on Sunday, September 30, announced they have decided tocall of their warning strike that had partially grounded economicactivities in the country.

The president of the NLC, Ayuba Wabba, made the announcement,according to Channels Television.

Wabba said the strike is being called off as a result of the firmassurance of the federal government to reconvene the tripartitecommittee on the new minimum wage
