One of the sons of former President Olusegun Obasanjo has vowed to work for the realisation of the second term ambition of President Muhammadu Buhari during the 2019 elections.

Olujonwo David Obasanjo, who does not share the position of his father, a staunch Buhari critic, went public with his support, via a statement issued in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital on Wednesday.

A copy of the statement entitled “My Public official statement in support of President Buhari’s second term” was made available to News Express by e-mail.

Olujonwo, in the statement, described Buhari as “our highly esteemed President” and appealed to Nigerians to re-elect him during next year’s polls to enable him continue his good work.
