Popular Afro pop singer Kefee (real name Irikefe Obareki-Esosa) has been placed on life support after being rushed to a hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, according to latest reports.
An earlier report yesterday afternoon by AIT had revealed that the Kokoroko and Branama crooner had slipped into coma after collapsing on a flight to Chicago.
The ordeal of Kefee, who is attending a course in music video directing in the U.S., was said to have started early last week when she slipped from the plane’s staircase and fell, reportedly suffering brain damage.
The implication of the latest reports is that it wasn’t Kefee who sent the reassuring tweet last Friday reassuring her fans that she was okay and allaying fears about her fate after the fall.
Kefee’s husband, Teddy Esosa, an On Air Personality with Star FM, Lagos, has reportedly jetted out to the U.S. to be with her. Kefee’s fans are praying for her survival and quick recovery.
