Nigeria’s ruling party, the All Progressives Congress(APC) has asked its branches in all the 36 states and the Federal Capital territory to embark on registration drive immediately.
The party’s National Working Committee (NWC) approved the exercise that it calls ‘Continuous Nationwide Membership Registration’.
Yekini Nabena, the acting publicity secretary said the decision followed calls from members of the public, who are interested in joining the Party to support the Change Agenda of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led APC administration.
He said the exercise will include both fresh registrations and revalidation of existing membership for the purposes of issuance of the Party’s permanent membership cards.
He urged the teeming supporters and members to take advantage of the exercise. (NAN)
