Thunderstorm
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted thunderstorms and rainfall over most parts of the country for Saturday.
NiMet made this known in its Weather Outlook by its Central Forecast Office in Abuja on Friday.
It predicted thunderstormsandrains overGusua, Katsinaandenvironswhileotherplacesremainin the northern parts would be cloudyduringthemorning hours.
The agency saidlocalisedthunderstorms would be expected overtheentire region with dayandnighttemperatureto be intherangesof28 –32 degree celsius and22–24 degree celsius respectively.
NiMet envisaged thunderstorms and rains over Minna and Ilorin during the morninghours.
It predicted thunderstorms and rainsover Jos, Kaduna, Abujaand environs while other places in the central parts would remain cloudy during the afternoon and eveninghours.
The agency said that day and night temperaturethe region would be in therangeof27–32 degree celsius and22–23 degree celsius respectively.
According to the prediction, cloudy morning is anticipated in southern parts withexception of Lagos,Saki andIseyin where moderate rains are expected in the morninghours.
“Later in the day, there are prospectsofrains over the inland cities and coastal axis with day and nighttemperatureexpectedto be in the range of28-31 degree celsius and 19–23 degree celsius respectively,” NiMet predicted. (NAN)
