The lawmaker representing Bayelsa West, ‎Senator Ben Murray Bruce, has urged the US, UK and Canadian embassies to revoke the visa of Senator Godswill Akpabio who just defected to the All Progressives Congress, (APC).

According to the lawmaker, Senator Akpabio, a former governor of Akwa Ibom State, and his gang are on a mission to break the laws of the land with backing from security agencies.

The senator said that the embassies should seize Akpabio’s visa and that of his family members.

National Assembly.Clerk of theNational Assembly, Mr Sani-Omolori retreated at the National Assembly gate after a moment conversation with officials of the State Security Service.

It is not clear whether the officers outrightly denied him entrance or he decided to turn back on his own.

Mr Sani-Omolori, however, told journalists he would not have entered even if he was granted access as many of his staff are stranded outside.
