Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu
Deputy Senate President, Dr. Ike Ekweremadu, is currently a guest of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), News Express can authoritatively reveal.
“Yes, he has been around with us,” a senior EFCC official who asked not to be named told News Express around 5pm on Tuesday.
The source disclosed that Ekweremadu is being quizzed at the Commission’s Head Office in Abuja, the Nigerian capital.
Asked if the Deputy Senate President would be allowed to go home after questioning, the source said: “I cannot predict that. It depends on how it goes.”
