Brave teenager escapes from Boko Haram custody

A 15-year-old girl, Zainab Mohammed, has escaped from the captivity of Boko Haram terrorists.

This was made known by the Director, Army Public Relations Brigadier General, Texas Chukwu in a statement on Sunday.

He said that troops of 28 Task Force Brigade intercepted the teenager at Gubla area of the state in North-East Nigeria.

Brigadier General Chukwu added that the hostage would be handed over to the appropriate authority after they conclude their investigation.
