Benue gets new police commissioner

A new Commissioner of Police, CP. Besan Dapiya Gwana has assumed duty at the Benue State Police Command in Makurdi.

The command Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP. Moses Joel Yamu, made this known a statement to inform the members of the general public.

Yamu said the new commissioner, until his posting to Benue State as Command CP, was the Commissioner of Police in charge of General Investigation (GI) at the Force Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department (FCIID) in Abuja.

Gwana succeeded CP Fatai Owoseni who was transferred out of the state last week.
