Speaking with journalists, the director general of the solidarity group, Hon George Towoju, described recent defection of some members of the National Assembly (Senators and Honourable Members of the Federal House of Representatives ) from the All Progressives Congress (APC) as desperate.

He said that the politicians only embarked on undeserving political negotiations aimed at nursing genuine interest of the masses for their personal and individual gains.
