The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today,Tuesday, June 5, 2018:

NORTHERN STATES: Cloudy to partly cloudy conditions are expected over this region but we expect afternoon/evening thunderstorms over parts of Maiduguri, Dutse, Kano and Gusau. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 33 – 40℃and 23 – 28℃respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy morning is anticipated over the region with intervals of sunshine. Later in the day, with increased cloudiness, there are chances of isolated thunderstorms over Yola, Bauchi, Abuja, Gombe and Jos. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 30 – 34℃and 21 – 24℃respectively except for Jos 26/17℃.

SOUTHERN STATES: Localised rains are likely over the coastal cities with cloudy conditions prevailing over the inland states in the morning hours. Thunderstorms are anticipated over the coastal and inland cities in the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 30 – 34℃and 21– 25℃respectively.
