Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has reconciled the two warring factions of the state House of Assembly.

Following the reconciliation which brought the crisis to an end, the Assembly will reopenon Thursdayto further consolidate the resolutions reached at the meeting.

In a statement signed by the Commissioner of Information of the State, Mallam Muhammad Garba, he said: “The reconciliation meeting was held late yesterday at the Government House between representatives of the two feuding factions and Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje who intervened to resolve the crisis in the interest of peace and democratic development of the state.”

The statement added that “the meeting was held in a matured and responsible manner.”
