Ahead of the 2019 general elections, the National Director, Independent Media Support Organization (IMSO), Comr Harris Chuma, has emerged the Director General Media/Publicity Ekene Enefe Campaign Organisation.

Ekene Enefe recently declared to contest for Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency under the platform of APGA at his country home, Osile Ogbunike, Oyi Local Government Area, Anambra State. It was an event that attracted many illustrious sons and daughters of Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency irrespective of party affiliation.

In his acceptance speech, the IMSO Boss described Enefe as a man of integrity whose stock in trade had been to impact on people’s lives, especially the youths and indigent. Man of the people and strong supporter of Chief Willie Obiano-led State Government.

Comr Chuma said: “I have known Ekene Enefe well before now, here is a great Patriot, a Pan Nigerian, one who has immensely contributed to the development of Anambra and Nigeria at large. The records are there. Since inception of Gov Obiano’s administration, Enefe has profoundly supported the administration, and works closely with the governor. Ekene Enefe is an accomplished man, a technocrat and highly successful business man, cum Security Consultant. He was the Chief Proponent of Stakeholders for Wilie Obiano Reelection 2017, a very potent support group. This formidable group worked assiduously for the successful reelection of His Excellency Chief Willie Obiano in 2017.

“Ekene Enefe is a prolific Writer, Publisher, Information Communication expert, Advocate of Good Governance and Transparent Leadership. A renowned author who crafted the nationally and internationally celebrated book on Nigeria’s quest for good governance and productive leadership titled ‘Nigeria Transit’ which was officially launched by Former President Goodluck Jonathan.”

Chuma promised to deliver Ekene Enefe and APGA, especially in the area of information dissemination ahead of the 2019 general elections.

“In our party, we should be talking about development not even growth. The image of APGA must be rebranded from what it used to be. I assure you that this time around; it is going to be a different thing. I am a man of the press, I will deliver,” he said.

Speaking on how he felt being Chief Ekene Enefe’s Spokesman, Chuma said: “I feel as if the challenge is not much. I wanted a situation where people will come out and prevail on Enefe to contest for Presidency because he is extremely qualified and capable of salvaging the masses, from the untoward hardship visited on us by APC led Federal Government.

“Ekene Enefe is not just intelligent, but very creative to make something out of nothing. He had been a silent messiah for many; he has built houses for families, and provided jobs for many. He got the destitutes out of the streets, rehabilitated and empowered them. While he was abroad, Ekene Enefe single-handedly sponsored many youths whose parents could not afford their university education. Today, more than fifty university graduates in his home town are direct beneficiaries of Enefe Scholarships Awards. He is a silent achiever, a philanthropist, an employer of labour who till date has many Anambra youths on his payroll. Ekene Enefe is passionate about the youths, and has their interests at heart. He is always working to ensure a better life for the youths. He has promised to restore the dignity of our youths in Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency if given the mandate to represent them at the green chambers.”
