Cloudy weather
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Tuesday, February 6, 2018:
NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy to sunny conditions are anticipated over most parts of the northern cities during the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 35 – 41℃ and 17 – 25℃ respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Chances of partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are likely over the region during the morning hours with chances of isolated thunderstorms over Abuja, Ilorin, Minna, Bida, Makurdi, Mambilla Plateau, Lokoja and Jalingo during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 34 – 39℃ and 19 – 25oC respectively, except over Jos where 31oC/15℃ day and night temperatures are expected.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are probable over most parts of the region with chances of thunderstorms over Eket during the morning hours while localised thunderstorms are anticipated over Akure, Oshogbo, Benin, Ado-Ekiti, Ijebu-ode, Lagos, Abeokuta, Port Harcourt and Calabar during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 33 – 37℃ and 19 – 25℃ respectively.
