Delta State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Sam Eze Ezeagbogho, has declared zero tolerance for pipeline vandalism in the state.

The Commandant made the declaration in Asaba during a media chat at the NSCDC headquarters in the state.

She described pipeline occurrence as crime against the country’s economic growth and development, noting that with the zero tolerance to any crime, it will be very tough on vandals, oil bunkerers as well as other related criminals in the state. She declared the rate of the crimes as alarming, assuring that it will be brought under control.

The Commandant lauded the press for their support in publicising the activities of NSCDC, Delta State Command and assured of continuous partnership and robust relationship.

According to her, plans are on top gear toward touring all NSCDC formations across the state to ascertain areas of need of the various commands and how to handle them.

Leader of the press team, Comrade Barth Ozah, assured the state NSCDC boss that the press is ready to promote the activities and successes of the state command.
